Well, I can relate as my son is in Japan and my daughter is off at her mom's. Another Christmas watching football and wishing not to be without loved ones around.

Cheer up tho, New Years is only a week away and it gets really bad bringing in the New Year by yourself. And hell, my birthday is only a month away after that. Hell, I think I will go shooot myself again this year.

 MZ H, I know how you feel. My ex threw divorce at me 5 years ago just before Thanksgiving after almost 30 years together. Both of our children, youngest with her now in Colorado and the oldest in Ohio at colledge, and my daughter of a previous encounter is in N. C.. And last but not least, my 101 year old dad is now in a nursing facility not doing to good along with our Govt. and the health industry wiping out his accounts and the house we live in is next, to pay his rehab bills. Yep, it's the pits when your alone, I miss my girls (all 4 of them), because I'm in Pa.. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you, maybe we will all have someone to be with....we won't really be alone because Jesus is born today.

 mhuny, ya being single at this time of year sucks, I hate waking up alone!! I wouldn't mind so much except it is my ex's turn to have my kid, so I am reaallly alone. I would have wrote bout this sooner but I was too busy being blah, lol, it is a little better now, hope the new year is better for both of us,
